Oil Description

This certified organic Geranium essential oil is steam distilled from the leaves of the geranium plant growing in cultivated fields found in the rural landscape of South Africa. We often use this essential oil when looking to improve overall circulation, especially when wanting to help reduce unwanted fluid retention or stimulate lymph movement.

The tender, green leaves of the flowering Pelargonium x asperum plant create a fresh, herbaceous, lemony, rosy, sweet, slightly minty essential oil. Along with helping to improve circulation, geranium essential oil is also useful in managing minor pain and inflammation as well as working to ease unwanted muscle spasms. This essential oil is deeply skin nourishing and can help minimize the presence of unwanted fungal activity. Geranium can help balance the production of sebum in either case of excess dryness or oiliness.

Emotionally and energetically, geranium essential oil is uplifting and stabilizing. This is a lovely essential oil to use when looking to help manage situational anxiety and depression. Geranium essential oil expands the imagination and provides greater intuition. This essential oil may increase capacity for initiating intimate, delicate communication and may help support one’s ability to both verbally receive and kindly give, as circumstances require.
