The bright orange rind of the Citrus tangerina fruit creates a sweet, citrusy, fruity, sparkly essential oil. Along with promoting balance, tangerine essential oil can help soothe a distressed digestive system and is often used to improve poor circulation, especially in the extremities. This essential oil is lovely in skin care blends as it is so nourishing and rejuvenating. It is often used to help with stretch marks and cellulitis.
Tangerine essential oil helps in reducing the presence of unwanted viral and microbial activity. This essential oil helps to reduce unwelcome muscle spasms and is a fantastic choice for supporting healthy lung activity, especially relating to congestion.

While tangerine essential oil is from a fruit in the same family as mandarin, tangerine is more energizing while mandarin essential oil is more sedative. Tangerine essential oil is best used at around a 1% dilution as it could potentially be skin irritating to some.

It’s best to buy citrus oils that are derived from organically grown fruit as citrus trees can be heavily sprayed.

Emotionally and energetically, tangerine essential oil soothes and relieves. This essential oil can help release and recirculate stagnant, blocked energy.
